About the Role:
As our Maintenance Electrician, you’ll be hands-on with day-to-day industrial maintenance tasks while guiding and coaching a team on the shop floor. Think of it as a hybrid between expert technician and on-the-ground team leader. If you’re someone who takes pride in quality work and knows how to motivate others, you’ll thrive here.
This position requires prior industrial maintenance experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example on the shop floor, supervising team members and promoting best practices
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ensure productivity, safety, and quality goals are met — even in a supervisor’s absence
- Train and mentor new maintenance technicians
- Help document daily productivity, safety incidents, and other operational data
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Be open to working overtime or flexible shifts as needed
- Participate in off-hours leadership development training
What You Bring to the Table:
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong hands-on skills: mechanical repair, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and more
- Familiarity with AC frequency drives, welding, PLCs, and fabrication is a huge plus
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and follow preventive maintenance sheets
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Computer literacy is a must
- High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training preferred
- Professional certifications (like CMRP or HVAC) are nice to have but not required
