Duties

- Negotiate policy terms and premiums effectively to secure optimal coverage for clients while maintaining profitability.
- Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and ensuring compliance with insurance regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining policy details clearly, answering questions, and guiding clients through the claims process.
- Stay informed about industry trends, insurance regulation updates, and product knowledge across health, property casualty, and commercial lines.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote insurance products and benefits to diverse audiences, including multilingual communities.
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in bilingual or multilingual settings preferred.
- Knowledge of insurance products such as health insurance, property casualty insurance, and commercial insurance is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with sales administration systems and analysis skills to interpret market data effectively.
- Understanding of insurance regulation standards like HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) is a plus.
- Previous experience in telemarketing or benefits administration can enhance success in this role.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport quickly with clients while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
