Duties
- Style and cut hair according to clients' preferences and latest trends
- Conduct consultations to understand clients' needs and preferences
- Use various techniques such as hair threading to create desired hairstyles
- Apply makeup for special occasions or as part of a regular beauty routine
- Utilize salon software to manage appointments, inventory, and client information
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, adhering to salon standards
- Upsell services and products to clients, increasing salon revenue
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing excellent customer service
- Collaborate with other stylists to create a cohesive and welcoming salon environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio of work
- Knowledge of various hair threading techniques
- Familiarity with salon software and ability to learn new systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong mentoring and training skills
- Willingness to continue learning and staying up-to-date with the latest hair care and styling trends
- Adherence to salon sanitation standards
- Ability to upsell services and products to clients
- Proficiency in MINDBODY or similar salon management software
