Position Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic, outgoing, reliable individuals to join our Ice Cream Revolution. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves ice cream and America, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service, even with the ever-changing tasks. No prior experience is required—training will be provided. We selectively hire in order to maintain a high caliber co-worker group that our employees enjoy working with and thus promotes employee retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Accurately scoop and serve ice cream, sundaes, shakes, and other menu items
- Handle cash and credit card transactions with accuracy & use POS systems.
- Maintain cleanliness of the shop, including counters, equipment, and dining areas
- Wash and maintain equipment and areas and help with opening and closing shift duties
- Restock supplies and ensure the store is well-presented at all times
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards & pass the Utah Food Handler permit test
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Comply with Colonial Era themed uniform standards
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Applicants MUST be 16 years old or older
- Available to work one weekend night each week (Fri - Sun)
- Be able to work during Monday-Sunday 10:00am-5pm shift and 5pm-11:30pm shift
