TITLE OF POSITION: DSE Level 2 Special Education Paraprofessional
STARTING DATE: 2026-27 School Year
PAY RATE: $15.45/hour (35 hours/week)
CLOSING DATE: August 15, 2026 @ 4:00 p.m.
Otsego Public Schools’ staff is the heart of the district, and we are looking to add a Special Education
Parapro to our middle school staff. Special Education Aide must be both physically and mentally able to
work with students with special needs.
Primary tasks (non-exhaustive list):
- Work with teachers, ancillary staff and administration toward the implementation of IEP academic,
functional, and behavioral objectives
- Implement instructional plans provided by special and general education teachers, speech and
language teacher and other professional staff
- Provide physical assistance to assigned students as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with youth strongly preferred
