We are seeking dependable and hardworking Kitchen Assistants to support food production operations in a fast-paced airline and event catering environment. Kitchen Assistants help prepare ingredients, assemble food items, maintain cleanliness standards, and support kitchen teams in delivering high-quality meals for airline passengers and special events.
This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently under strict timelines, and a commitment to food safety and sanitation standards.

Assist cooks and chefs with food preparation and meal assembly.

Wash, peel, chop, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and production schedules.

Assemble and package meals, snacks, and catering items for airline flights and special events.

Stock workstations with ingredients, utensils, and supplies.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, prep, and storage areas.

Wash and sanitize equipment, utensils, trays, and work surfaces.

Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP procedures.

Properly label, date, and store food products.

Assist with inventory rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.

Remove trash and recyclable materials from production areas.

Support event and airline catering teams with special projects as assigned.

Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to meet production deadlines.

Previous kitchen, food service, catering, or restaurant experience preferred but not required.

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.

Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying.

Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.

Comfortable working in hot, cold, and refrigerated environments.

Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.

Commercial airline and event catering kitchen facility.

Fast-paced environment with strict production schedules.

Exposure to kitchen equipment, refrigeration units, and food preparation areas.
