Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and licensed General Dentist to temporarily cover patient care while our current associate takes a maternity leave. We are hoping to find one candidate prepared to take patients from early October until the first week of January. As a short-term Associate Dentist, our owner, Dr. Bronke, as well as a hygienist, will remain in office, and still see patients during your time with us. Our chosen candidate will be compensated per diem, starting at $700/day. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages. Our short-term Associate Dentist will perform various procedures while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
Expectations
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Perform general dentistry procedures
- Provide dental care in a compassionate and effective manner.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance patient comfort and efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and all support staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to the field.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health.
- Familiarity with medical imaging technologies used in dentistry.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and team members.
