Medical Assistant - Orthopedics
Fantastic opportunity for a skilled medical assistant for a fast paced, rapidly expanding multi physician practice.
The medical assistant will be responsible for rooming patients, taking a history and entering into the EMR, as well as managing all clinical aspects of the physician practice. The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:
-At least 1-2 years of medical assisting in orthopedics strongly preferred
-Must be able to learn quickly and multitask in a challenging environment
-Must have ability to learn computer programs quickly
-Must possess a strong work ethic
-Must have a stable work history
-Willingness to cross train in other practice areas required
-Experience with phlebotomy a plus
-Familiarity with FMLA paperwork, DWC25 paperwork, disability paperwork extremely helpful
