Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble meals according to established menus, dietary guidelines, and safety standards
- Handle food with care, following proper food safety and sanitation protocols at all times
- Cook a variety of dishes using knife skills and culinary techniques to ensure quality and presentation
- Support food service operations by serving meals efficiently and courteously to customers
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health regulations
- Participate in catering events or special meal preparations as needed, ensuring timely delivery and presentation
Experience
- Prior experience working in food service, or culinary environments is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques
- Background in restaurant or kitchen settings demonstrating strong knife skills and meal preparation abilities
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food storage procedures
- Experience in catering or serving roles that require excellent customer service skills
- Familiarity with the food industry’s best practices for quality control and efficiency
- Previous dietary aide experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
