Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support clients with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors and progress to inform treatment adjustments
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and toileting, to promote independence
- Use behavioral management techniques to reinforce positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to develop and update individualized care plans and goals
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, treatment records, and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Create a safe, supportive environment that encourages learning, engagement, and emotional well-being
Skills
- Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Experience working with children or individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Ability to assist with ADLs and implement teaching strategies effectively
- Proficiency in data collection methods for tracking client progress and behavior patterns
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards
- Excellent communication skills for working with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Patience, compassion, and a dedicated approach to patient care and behavioral health

Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour
