Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a fresh and inviting atmosphere
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces with meticulous attention to detail
- Perform floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, linens, and other supplies in guest rooms and public areas
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures in accordance with health regulations and company policies
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to maintain overall property excellence
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles; hotel experience is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and industrial cleaning methods
- Familiarity with custodial equipment and cleaning supplies; ability to operate vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, etc.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering exceptional cleanliness standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks effectively
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices in hospitality settings
