Lil Titans Daycare is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Childcare Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone to start in August of 2026 but are willing to start with a few summer hours to get them trained. We care for children ages 6 weeks through preschool and are looking for someone who enjoys helping young children learn, play, and grow in a safe and nurturing environment.
Position Details
- 25–40 hours per week
- Daycare hours are Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Pay starts at $13.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care and supervision for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
- Assist with daily routines including meals, diapering, potty training, naps, and outdoor play
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Work cooperatively with other staff members
- Follow all daycare policies and state licensing requirements
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working with children from 6 weeks through preschool age
- Ability to lift, carry, and actively participate in children's activities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Childcare experience is preferred but not required
- Must be able to pass sleep safe and other child training courses
- Must be able to pass all required background checks
