POSITION SUMMARY: This position moves, receives and stores products and raw materials safely within entire warehouse facility and its differnt departments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Wraps and prepairs shipments for customers or transfers to warehouses. Will use pallet jacks, Forklift truck, and other machinerey safely while moving products within the warehouse facility and its departments. Conducts all operations in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday (Occasional overtime requied on weekends)
· 1st Shift 7:00am-3:00pm
JOB DUTIES/REQUIREMENTS:
· Accurately wraps, stages and loads shipments
· Participates in physical inventory count
· Maintains inventory row sheets daily
· Accurately receives finished goods or raw materials
· Properly verifies inbound orders
· Performs general housekeeping duties inside the warehouse and organization of the dock and inventory areas
· Participate as a team member in the checking and inspection of outbound shipments prior to loading
· Reports any defective trailers or situations either inbound or outbound to the Warehouse Manager for appropriate action
· Moves raw materials and finished goods within all warehouse departments, receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas
· Ensures to follow all safety guidelines and look for traffic, while handling a moving vehicle
· Performs other job duties as assigned or as the job requires
· Candidate must be able to lift-up to 35 lbs.
· This position may require working overtime on a needed basis
· Administrative duties are performed with a high degree of accuracy
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
· 1-2 years warehouse experience (manufacturing)
· H.S. graduate or GED equivalent – Preferred.
· Effective written and verbal communication skills
· Forklift certification, preferred
· Candidate must be detail oriented
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
· Computer knowledge is a plus
