Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Screen Printer to join our production team. This is a hands-on position for someone who understands the entire screen printing process from start to finish. The ideal candidate is fast, detail-oriented, dependable, and takes pride in producing high-quality work while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and set up automatic screen printing presses.
- Prepare jobs for production, including screen registration and press setup.
- Coat, expose (burn), reclaim, clean, and maintain screens.
- Mix inks and ensure accurate color matching when needed.
- Inspect prints for quality and consistency throughout production runs.
- Troubleshoot print issues quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain production schedules while meeting quality standards.
- Perform routine press maintenance and keep equipment clean.
- Keep the production area organized and follow shop safety procedures.
- Work as part of a team and help wherever needed to keep production moving smoothly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating automatic screen printing presses.
- Strong knowledge of the complete screen printing process, including reclaiming, coating, burning, setting up, registering, and printing screens.
- Ability to produce clean, consistent, high-quality prints.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Experience with manual presses is a plus.
