A nationally recognized healthcare organization is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to lead a high-performing Medical/Surgical team. This leadership role offers the opportunity to support staff development, drive patient care excellence, and help maintain a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
The unit cares for patients with a variety of medical diagnoses including neurological conditions, falls, syncope, gastrointestinal disorders, infections, anemia, and respiratory illnesses. Patients are typically medically stable and expected to discharge within 24-72 hours, creating a fast-paced environment focused on quality outcomes and efficient patient throughput.
- Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff
- Promote high-quality, patient-centered care and safety initiatives
- Assist with staffing, workflow coordination, and patient throughput
- Mentor and develop nursing team members
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Active RN license
- Previous acute care nursing experience required
- Prior charge nurse, leadership, or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and team-building abilities
