Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated RN to join our skilled nursing facility as the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). The ideal candidate will oversee nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care. Must be a Registered Nurse in New York State.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate nursing staff to provide optimal care
- Uphold resident rights and ensure compliance with regulations
- Oversee Medicare compliance and documentation
- Utilize in-depth physiology knowledge to guide nursing practices
- Lead nursing administration functions effectively
- Supervise nurse management activities across various units
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate staff
Skills:
- Proven experience in long-term care settings
- Understanding of Medicare regulations
- Background in nurse management or supervision
- Ability to manage and lead a team of nurses effectively
-Clinical Informatics experience with PCC, learning and training employees
