40 Hours of work weekly on 3rd shift. Weekends needed. Rotating holidays.

Job Title: Substance Use Treatment Care Specialist Case Manager
Reports to: Supervisor, Care Specialist and Recovery Housing Manager
Department: Clinical

Shift: Saturday through Wednesday 12am to 8am
Job Summary
Provides oversight, accurate and timely documentation of the activities of the clients; as well as facilitate the management of clients in the evenings and on weekends.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
1. Monitors and manages client activities, meals, chores, recreation, visitation, phone calls, and social events.
2. Monitor client safety.
3. Provides support and encouragement to clients and their families.
4. Interact with clients in a way that promotes empathy and accountability.
5. Documents activities in regard to client activity and updates.
6. Escalate critical issues to supervisor/counselor/Director, Clinical as appropriate.
7. Oversee and document the self-administration of client’s medication, maintaining accurate reporting and documentation of client medication and need for refills.
8. Performs all job functions with integrity. Provides timely internal and external customer service in cooperative, professional, and respectful manner.
Educational Requirements
High School Diploma/GED.
Required Licenses and/or Certificates
CPR/First Aid within 90 days. Agency pays for training
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1. Ability to build effective working partnerships with treatment team, other client service providers, and other functions and areas.
2. Recognizes the importance of family, social networks, and community systems in the treatment and recovery process.
3. Skills necessary to deal with crises with maturity and integration of recovery and de-escalation principles.
4. Ability to verbalize and demonstrate how to implement safety and emergency procedures.
5. Plan and implement activities that support recovery and healthy daily living skills.
6. Ability to work with adults with substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health issues.
7. Understanding of the various models of recovery, including 12 step.
8. Awareness of gender responsive treatment and ability to work with women and children.
9. Operate standard equipment necessary to complete duties.
10. Flexible: ability to adjust work hours to meet business demands.
Physical Effort and Dexterity*
1. Sit for prolonged periods of time.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
