American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ACU/Stepdown position requiring 2+ years of stepdown experience and Cerner proficiency.
-
Work in the Transitional Care Unit of a hospital setting
-
Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
-
Every other weekend required
-
Float to Med/Surg and Telemetry units as needed
-
Uses Cerner EMR system
-
Active RN license (Standard or AR/Compact) currently in hand
-
Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Minimum 2 years of recent stepdown nursing experience required

Cerner EMR experience required

Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start

No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Provide direct nursing care to acute and stepdown patients in a transitional care setting

Gray scrubs required
-
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position

RTO requests must be less than one week
-
Not eligible if previously worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
