Job Title: Employment Services Production Supervisor

OBJECTIVE
Supervise activity on the production floor and meet quality control specifications, production standards, and quotas. Work in conjunction with the Employment Support Supervisor Lead (ESSL) when necessary. Must obtain prior approval for overtime issues from the Employment Services Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
1. Responsible for quality assurance, contract completion, customer communications, coordination of delivery of materials as well as the day to day operations of the facility.
2. Work with the Employment Services Director to establish work assignments and work schedule for all employees supervised. The Employment Services Production Supervisor may also make adjustments in that schedule due to variations in the work load, absences of scheduled employees and other emergency situations.
3. Review job orders assigned and coordinate set-up with staff.
4. For Center Based Employment (CBE): Conducts time studies and designates steps involved under the Employment Services Director supervision.
5. Maintain agency and customer materials in facility and manage inventory and track work in progress.
6. Monitor shipping and receiving.
7. Assure safety of CBE programs and personnel.
8. Initiate and be responsive in situations requiring disciplinary action for matters of production in collaboration with the ESSL.
9. Can participate in coachings in conjunction with the ESSL.
10. Evaluate employee performance via the review process.
11. Monitor supplies, machinery, and supplies according to OSHA standards. Maintain safety policies and procedures.
12. Drive heavy equipment, if required.
13. Work in conjunction with Employment Services Director to ensure compliance with all Department of Labor regulations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises Employment Support Professionals in relation to all matters of production.
AUTHORITY
This person shall have the authority to complete the above responsibilities subject to the verbal and/or written approval of the Employment Services Director and/or the Director of Programs and Services.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates degree in related field and three (3) years of experience preferred; or any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education approved by the Executive Director. Case management experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must have solid communication skills, both written and verbal. Bilingual and sign language a plus.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Basic calculations.
REASONING ABILITY
Basic ability to apply training to daily situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
1. CPR, First Aid, Article 9 and Member Intervention Training. If you do not hold these certifications, Gompers will provide training.
2. A valid Arizona Drive License and a clear 39 month Arizona Motor Vehicle Report required.
3. Fingerprint Clearance Card.
