Nutfield Eye Associates is an established practice providing eye care in the greater Derry / Londonderry area for nearly 30 years. We are growing and looking to add onto our technical team to keep up with the increased case load. We are looking for an experienced technician in general ophthalmology; however cataract, glaucoma or lasik experience is a plus.
This role will be working with our two ophthalmologists as well as providing coverage for our three optometrists. This role will be wokring one on one with patients in the exam room preparing for their appts or performing any necessary testing. Additional tasks include answering patient questions via phone, sending medications to the pharmacy as the physician orders, cleaning and disinfecting exam lanes, collaborating with other departments to assist patients, scheduling follow up care or various other tasks as needed. Our physicians offer advanced laser assisted cataract surgery with premium iols, glaucoma surgical care, and treat both routine and medical conditions of the eye. We have wonderful patients, a busy pace, a strong team and a great work environment.
