Position Summary
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented team member to join their 1st Shift Production team. This role involves setting up, adjusting, and operating spray coat and screen coat equipment to apply solder resist accurately and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, dependable, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality while working in a team-oriented production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Duties
- Set up and operate conveyor spray coat machines, manual screen coat machines, and conveyor ovens
- Apply solder resist using proper coating techniques
- Monitor and adjust key process parameters (e.g., atomization pressure, spray pitch, squeegee pressure, temperature)
- Mix and handle solvent-based inks safely and effectively
- Perform visual inspections and use gauges to ensure product quality
- Follow all operating procedures and safety guidelines accurately
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on equipment
Additional Duties
- Identify defective products and determine root causes of scrap
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Monitor supply levels and communicate material needs as necessary
Qualifications
Education & Skills
- Basic math skills (including fractions and decimals)
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Basic computer skills
- Client is willing to train - no experience needed. However, manufacturing experience is preferred
- Willingness to learn & coachability - opportunities for cross-training are available

Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing environment and involves working with coating equipment and industrial chemicals. Proper safety practices and handling procedures are required at all times.
