- 48-bed critical access hospital, 6 clinics, LTC facility

Location:
- Population of approx 6,500, about an hour from Anchorage
- Regional commercial port town
- Serving the villages and local communities in the delta region

Summary:
- Work under the direction of the laboratory manager
- Tech is responsible for performing lab tests, quality control, communicate with physicians, nurses and patients.

Requirements of the Medical Tech, Lab Tech:
- Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or a related field
- Board eligible by NCA or ASCP, complete board certification within a year of hire
- Certification at MT by American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or CLS by National Accrediting Agency (NCA) within one year of employment
- Clinical laboratory instrumentation
- Hospital Laboratory generalist
- 1-3 years’ hospital laboratory experience - chemistry, blood bank, hematology, microbiology or formal student internship

- $25 - $35k sign on bonus / relocation allowance Half paid after accepting an offer, balance paid soon after start
