American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel contract working 4x10-hour day shifts in a high-volume lab performing complex cardiac and vascular procedures.

Work in a Cath Lab environment with 5 procedure rooms plus a Hybrid OR
-
Cases include Right and Left Heart Cath Diagnostic, PCI, Complex PCI, CTO, ASA, PFO/ASD, MitralClip, Watchman, PTMV, TAVR, Peripheral, and Vascular procedures

Scrub experience preferred

Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

On-call required approximately 1–2 nights per week, one weekend per six-week period, with possible holiday call

EMR: Epic (experience preferred)

Active SC RN license or compact/multi-state RN license required; candidates with a pending SC license may be considered

Current AHA certifications required: BLS and ACLS

Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience required

A radiation monitoring badge must be provided by the agency prior to assignment start

SSN and Driver's License required for consideration

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Previous permanent or PRN staff at any MUSC location must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler

Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are considered local and will be offered a reduced rate; non-local candidates are prioritized

All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration and are subject to facility approval

Online orientation modules are completed prior to the assignment start date

During hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response duties; peak activity months are August and September
