American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit night shift position requiring OH or compact RN license and prior telemetry experience.

Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts

Every other weekend required (Friday and Saturday nights)

13-week contract length (or per assignment)

Progressive Care/Telemetry unit setting with cardiac monitoring

Active OH or compact RN license required
-
BLS and ACLS certifications required
-
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Prior telemetry experience required

Experience with IV insulin protocols and insulin drips required

Strong cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills required

2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a Manager/Director or formal leadership role (Charge RN acceptable for second reference, no coworker references)

Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and management of IV insulin protocols

Local candidates accepted at the same rate

Former employees eligible for a travel assignment after being away from the facility for 6 months or more

Requested time off must be submitted with the application and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less

Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly upon signing contract; those outside Ohio but within driving distance must travel to a fingerprinting location, while those farther away will receive a mail-in fingerprinting packet
