Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Independent Contractor (1099) to generate, manage, and close new business opportunities for our medical billing services. The ideal candidate will have strong sales and business development experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while achieving defined performance targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, cold outreach, networking, referrals, and other lead-generation strategies within the healthcare industry.
- Present and promote medical billing services to clinics, hospitals, private practices, and healthcare providers by clearly communicating the value and benefits of our solutions.
- Conduct sales meetings, consultations, and service demonstrations to understand client needs, billing challenges, and revenue cycle pain points.
- Recommend tailored medical billing solutions based on each client’s requirements.
- Handle objections professionally and negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to successfully close deals.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with healthcare providers, practice administrators, and key decision-makers.
- Manage an organized sales pipeline, including lead tracking, follow-ups, deal progression, and client updates through CRM tools.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, KPIs, and performance goals.
- Collaborate with internal billing, operations, and onboarding teams to ensure a smooth transition for new clients.
- Stay updated on healthcare industry trends, medical billing practices, revenue cycle management, and competitor offerings.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance summaries.
- Maintain professional communication and represent the company’s brand with integrity in all client interactions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, business development, lead generation, or medical billing services sales.
- Experience selling to healthcare providers, clinics, hospitals, or medical practices is preferred.
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, medical billing processes, and revenue cycle management is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, contract-based environment.
- Strong time management, follow-up, and organizational skills.
- Experience using CRM tools for pipeline management, lead tracking, and client communication.
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working on performance-based goals.
Compensation & Incentives
- Performance-based commission on successfully closed deals.
- Recurring or residual earnings based on client retention.
- Additional incentives and bonuses for exceeding sales targets and performance goals.
