Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a steady flow of seating and service.
- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or organizing supplies.
- Support the culinary team during busy periods with catering or banquet setups, ensuring smooth service.
- Maintain cleanliness in all food prep and service areas by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly.
- Handle food handling responsibilities safely and in accordance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and excellent guest service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting and bending.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in food handling and sanitation.
- Knowledge of basic kitchen operations including bussing, cleaning, and food preparation is a plus.
- Experience with catering or banquet events can be advantageous but is not mandatory.
- A positive attitude, team spirit, and eagerness to contribute to a lively dining atmosphere are essential.
