Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients with precision and care
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety protocols
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors and toppings to enhance customer options
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, knives, and other culinary tools
- Ensure proper food handling and storage practices to uphold hygiene standards
- Serve pizzas promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction during busy service hours
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or culinary environments is highly preferred
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- Experience with menu planning or catering is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
- Previous experience in fine dining or the food industry is advantageous but not mandatory
