Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a thorough understanding of facilities management, property leasing, and Fair Housing regulations. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring tenant satisfaction, maintaining property standards, and maximizing occupancy rates.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and address any concerns or issues promptly.
- Oversee property leasing activities, including marketing available units and conducting showings.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies.
- Utilize AppFolio software for property management tasks such as tracking leases, payments, and maintenance requests.
- Negotiate lease agreements and renewals with tenants while maintaining positive relationships.
- Coordinate maintenance activities and ensure that facilities are well-maintained and meet safety standards.
- Handle conflict management effectively to resolve disputes between tenants or between tenants and management.
- Maintain accurate records related to contracts, tenant communications, and property performance.
Experience
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of facilities management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with property leasing processes and Fair Housing regulations is essential.
- Proficiency in AppFolio or similar property management software is a plus.
- Excellent sales skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple properties simultaneously.
