JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Relationship Manager supports the Loan & Marketing team by assisting with business development, credit administration, and portfolio monitoring activities. This role works closely with relationship managers to help originate new business, prepare credit analysis and documentation, and monitor loan performance to ensure compliance with credit policies and loan agreements.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in business development and business origination.
- Assist in the preparation of loan related reports, Internal Credit Rating reports, and post-drawdown credit monitoring reports under the guidance of senior staff.
- Support ongoing loan covenant monitoring by performing financial covenant testing, financial information collecting and monthly bank statements and quarterly/Annually financial statements reviewing, and assisting with site inspections as needed.
- Assist in preparing credit memorandum, annual credit reviews, and other related credit and loan documentation under the guidance of senior staff.
- Conduct credit due diligence searches both prior to and after loan booking, including UCC filings and searches, flood certifications, and nationwide real estate tax service reports.
- Monitor loan insurance coverage, UCC filings, collateral records, and loan and facility expiration dates to help ensure compliance with loan agreements.
- Loan documentation preparation and maintenance.
- Assist with the preparation of payoff demand statements and support the loan payoff process, including filing and record maintenance.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Skills/Knowledge:
· Excellent credit and financial analysis skills
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Good understanding of commercial industry, business development techniques and credit
decisions
· Bilingual in English/Chinese is required
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
