Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extensions, ensuring high-quality results.
- Apply and customize nail art using color theory principles to create stunning designs tailored to client preferences.
- Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation and disinfection procedures for tools and workstations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide recommendations, and ensure a satisfying experience.
- Educate clients on nail care routines, proper maintenance of nail enhancements, and aftercare tips.
- Upsell retail products like nail polishes, treatments, and skincare items to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Follow all health regulations related to sanitation, disinfection procedures, and overall salon safety standards.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of color theory for creating visually appealing nail designs.
- Experience with nail extensions, gel manicures, acrylic application, and other advanced nail techniques.
- Proficiency in performing pedicures and general nail care services with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, and disinfection procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with clients.
- Background in the beauty industry with experience working as a cosmetologist or esthetician preferred.
- Knowledge of additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, dermabrasion, laser treatments, hair threading, barbering, retail math for upselling opportunities.
