Description
As a Butcher, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, boning, and preparing meat products for sale or consumption. You will work in a detail orientated environment, ensuring that the highest quality products are available to our customers.
As a Butcher, you will have a keen eye for detail and be knowledgeable about different cuts of meat on various species. You will also have strong knife skills and be able to work efficiently and accurately. In addition, you will need to maintain a clean and organized work area, follow all safety and hygiene protocols, and be able work with a team.

Responsibilities
- Operate all processing equipment. Saw, Grinder, Sausage Pump, Tenderizer, etc.
- Cut, trim, bone, and prepare meat products for sale or consumption.
- Prepare specialty cuts and custom orders according to customer specifications.
- Sharpen and maintain knives and other cutting equipment.
- Receive, inspect, and store meat products to ensure quality and freshness. Know about product rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and hygiene protocols.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and assisting with product selection.
- Know how to follow instructions and recipes.
Requirements
- Process the skill to work with others and assist in daily tasks.
- Proven experience as a Butcher or similar role.
- Be willing to be trained.
- Strong knife skills and the ability to work quickly and accurately.
- In-depth knowledge of different cuts of meat and their uses.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to read and understand cuts sheets and customer orders.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
