Overview

Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Manage inventory levels by performing stock counts, updating inventory, and reconciling discrepancies to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely to load and unload trucks, move stock within the facility, and support shipping logistics.
- Utilize MRP software to track shipments, update records, and facilitate data entry tasks.
- Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying shipments against work orders, preparing packing lists, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock in designated areas, stocking shelves efficiently, and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Provide excellent customer service by accurately processing orders, responding to internal inquiries, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Experience
- 2 years prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and warehouse operations systems such as Quickbooks is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills are essential for counting inventory, calculating weights or measurements, and verifying shipment quantities.
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks is a plus; certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform data entry accurately using Microsoft Office tools like Excel or Word.
- Knowledge of shipping logistics, order fulfillment procedures, and international shipping regulations will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
- A proactive attitude with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
