Barista/Server – New Land & Lake Cafe

Join the opening team of Land & Lake Cafe, a refined daytime concept located steps from Northwestern University. We are seeking skilled, hospitality-driven Barista/Servers who take pride in crafting quality beverages and delivering an elevated guest experience from bar to table.
⏰ Daytime Hours Only: 6:30am–2pm | 7 days/week
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, and tea with consistency and attention to detail
- Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests with warm, professional, and efficient service
- Move fluidly between bar and floor to support a seamless guest experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace
- Support team members during high-volume service periods
Qualifications
- Experience in a café, coffee shop, or restaurant environment a must
- Working knowledge of espresso preparation and bar flow
- Prior table service experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Polished communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
