Piccolo Infant Teacher — Lead or Assistant
Help create a child’s first experience of school as a place of safety, connection, discovery, and delight.
Explore Montessori & Academy is seeking nurturing, dependable educators to join our Piccolo infant community. Our infant teachers build secure relationships, follow each child’s individual rhythms, and create meaningful opportunities for movement, language, sensory exploration, and early independence.
In this role, you will:
- Maintain active, attentive supervision throughout the day.
- Provide responsive, respectful care during feeding, diapering, rest, and transitions.
- Prepare enriching, developmentally appropriate experiences based on each child’s interests and needs.
- Model calm communication, kindness, patience, and healthy social-emotional skills.
- Build trusting relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
- Arrive reliably and contribute to a consistent, peaceful classroom environment.
Lead Teachers guide customize infants changing schedules, support curriculum planning, communicate with families, and mentor team members. Assistant Teachers work closely with the lead while learning strong infant-care and Montessori practices.
Pre-Primary (1.5-3 years) Teacher — Lead or Assistant
Join children during one of the most exciting stages of development—as they discover language, independence, friendship, and the confidence to say, “I can do it.”
Explore Montessori & Academy is seeking energetic, patient, and dependable educators for our Pre-Primary community. Teachers support toddlers through purposeful routines, hands-on exploration, outdoor play, self-care skills, and the big emotions that come with growing independence.
In this role, you will:
- Provide active supervision while remaining engaged and present with children.
- Prepare enriching activities that support language, movement, practical life, creativity, and problem-solving.
- Guide children through transitions, toileting, meals, rest, and classroom routines with patience and respect.
- Model emotional regulation, empathy, respectful communication, and peaceful problem-solving.
- Build genuine relationships with children and create positive partnerships with families.
- Bring reliability, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit to the classroom each day.
Lead Teachers guide classroom routines, curriculum, family communication, and team development. Assistant Teachers help maintain a safe, joyful environment while gaining valuable experience and mentorship.
Primary (3-6 years) Montessori Teacher — Lead or Assistant
Help children become confident thinkers, compassionate classmates, and capable members of their community.
Explore Montessori & Academy is seeking inspiring and reliable educators for our Primary classroom. Our teachers create an intentional environment where children can follow their curiosity, develop independence, practice kindness, explore nature and art, and experience the joy of meaningful work.
In this role, you will:
- Maintain active supervision indoors and outdoors while encouraging appropriate independence.
- Prepare engaging learning experiences in practical life, language, mathematics, science, culture, art, and nature.
- Observe children carefully and respond with lessons, materials, and enrichment that support individual growth.
- Model respect, emotional awareness, problem-solving, and positive social interactions.
- Build strong relationships with children and communicate thoughtfully with families.
- Provide the consistency and reliability children need to feel secure and successful.
Lead Teachers guide the prepared environment, classroom curriculum, child observations, family communication, and teaching team. Assistant Teachers support lessons, routines, supervision, classroom care, and individualized learning while developing their own educational skills.
