Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Plumber Foreman to lead commercial and industrial plumbing installations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing pipe fabrication, installation, system performance, jobsite coordination, and code compliance.
The Plumber Foreman will help manage labor, materials, equipment, safety, quality, and project schedules while also mentoring apprentices and supporting field teams. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial and industrial plumbing experience, a valid journeyman plumber’s license, and the ability to lead by example on active jobsites.

Key Responsibilities
The Plumber Foreman will measure, cut, bend, fabricate, and install copper, PVC, CPVC, and steel piping for commercial and industrial plumbing systems.
This position will perform copper brazing, soldering, threading, steel pipe assembly, and installation of valves, hangers, supports, flanges, and related piping components.
The Plumber Foreman will diagnose plumbing issues, repair leaks, troubleshoot system performance, and ensure all work meets applicable plumbing codes, building codes, project specifications, and quality standards.
This role will coordinate labor, materials, tools, and equipment to help keep projects on schedule and running efficiently.
The Plumber Foreman will train and mentor apprentices on proper plumbing techniques, safe work practices, tool use, system installation, and jobsite expectations.
This position will collaborate with other departments, trades, project teams, and field leadership as needed to support project completion.
The Plumber Foreman will enforce company safety procedures, maintain high-quality workmanship, and help ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Required Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have 4–5 years of commercial and industrial plumbing experience and a valid journeyman plumber’s license.
Candidates should have strong knowledge of plumbing codes, building codes, backflow devices, piping systems, and commercial/industrial plumbing installation practices.
The ideal candidate will be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, isometric drawings, layout drawings, and project specifications.
Candidates should be proficient with plumbing tools, materials, equipment, and installation methods used on commercial and industrial jobsites.
Strong troubleshooting skills, math skills, problem-solving ability, communication skills, and leadership ability are important for success in this role.
Candidates must be willing and able to learn new technologies, follow safety procedures, and work effectively with apprentices, field crews, project teams, and other trades.
Preferred Qualifications
Backflow certification is preferred.
Experience with gas cutting torches, trailer loading, material securing, chauffeur license, and/or a DOT medical card is preferred.
Rigger 2 training or similar rigging experience is preferred.
Equipment and Technical Experience
Ideal candidates will have experience using aerial lifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts up to 8,000 pounds, telehandlers, ProPress, MegaPress, hand benders, pipe groovers, floor cutters, drain clearing equipment, hydrostatic test pumps, and backflow test gauges.
Experience with gas cutting torches, trailer loading, and securing materials is helpful.
Rigging Knowledge
Candidates with rigging knowledge should be comfortable working with hooks, shackles, wire rope clips, clamps, eye bolts, tag lines, load configuration, load positioning, and weight calculations.
Rigger 2 training or equivalent hands-on rigging experience is preferred.
