We are looking for a skilled MBSE Systems Engineer with an active DoD Top Secret clearance to support advanced defense system development programs. This role focuses on system architecture, SysML modeling, and full-lifecycle requirements engineering within Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) environments. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-paced, mission-critical program settings.
Develop and document system architectures using MBSE methodologies
Create SysML models using tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw
Capture, decompose, and trace requirements across the system lifecycle
Define system interfaces and architectural specifications
Validate system models within SIL environments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical designs to stakeholders
Manage multiple priorities in complex program environments
Active DoD Top Secret clearance (required)
Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Software, Test Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
8–12 years of experience with a Bachelor’s OR 6–10 years with a Master’s
Hands-on experience in SIL environments
Strong SysML expertise (Cameo or MagicDraw preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in requirements management, decomposition, and traceability
Background in defense or aerospace systems development
Active TS/SCI clearance
Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban)
Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)
OCSMP certification
Experience with executable SysML simulations and scripting languages
Knowledge of MBSE frameworks such as MagicGrid
Understanding of military CONOPS
