American Traveler is hiring an LVN/LPN for Urgent Care with 2-3 years of Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience and current IV, BLS, and ACLS certifications.

Work in an Urgent Care setting
-
Float between two Urgent Care locations
-
Variable shift schedule including weekends, with start times ranging from 07:45 to 10:30 and 8.5-hour shifts

Uses Cerner EHR
-
Performs blood draws, IV administration, EKGs, physicals, catheter care, and splinting
-
LVN/LPN license required if applicable
-
IV certification required
-
BLS and ACLS certification required
-
2-3 years of experience required

Urgent Care or Emergency Department experience required

Cerner EHR experience required
-
High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Proof of COVID vaccination status required for consideration

Responsibilities include patient care rooming, vitals, administering IV fluids and medications, rapid intakes, catheter administration, mixing and IM injections, tray procedure setup, splinting, employer physicals and all components, drug screen and BAT testing

Assists providers with minor surgical procedures

Black scrubs required

Strict dress code enforced: no facial hair, no acrylic nails, no unnatural hair colors, all tattoos must be covered, no visible body piercings other than earrings, no facial or nose rings, and earrings may not extend beyond the earlobe or be hoop earrings

Orientation includes completion of facility modules averaging 3-6 hours depending on specialty

Local candidates accepted

Candidates must live within 30-50 miles of the facility

Previous staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
