About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Delivery Driver who is more than just a driver. This role is critical to our operations—you will be responsible for safely transporting, loading, and delivering doors and trim materials to job sites while ensuring excellent communication and professionalism with our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a box truck (non-CDL) safely and efficiently
- Load and unload heavy building materials, including:
- Pre-hung doors with glass inserts
- Interior doors
- Fiberglass exterior doors
- Trim and related materials
- Secure materials properly to prevent damage during transit
- Deliver materials to residential and construction job sites
- Take delivery photos and document drop-offs accurately
- Communicate with customers/builders:
- Provide ETA updates
- Notify upon arrival and completion
- Read and verify paperwork, packing lists, and material orders
- Ensure all deliveries match the order before leaving the warehouse
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the truck
- Follow company safety standards and procedures
Requirements
- Mandatory: Ability to pass a drug test
- Proven experience driving a box truck (no CDL required)
- Experience handling and transporting construction materials preferred
- Ability to lift and move heavy items regularly (50–100+ lbs with team support)
- Comfortable reading and understanding delivery paperwork and material lists
- Strong communication skills and professional attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
