American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift position in Sioux City, IA requiring 2 years of experience and at least one completed travel contract.

General medical/surgical floor caring for post-op patients requiring overnight stays
-
Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hrs/week

Every other weekend required
-
No on-call requirements

Floating required across local campuses within the same discipline

Uses Epic EMR
-
Active RN license (Iowa or Compact) required
-
Current BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications required
-
Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required

At least 1 completed travel contract required

Epic EMR experience preferred
-
Driver's license required for consideration
-
One supervisory reference required at time of consideration

Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission required

Contribute clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary care team

Provide care for post-surgical patients on a general medical/surgical unit

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Candidates who were employed by the facility within the last 12 months will not be considered

Must have a taxable address outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility to qualify for travel rate

Holiday coverage required, with travelers expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, Thanksgiving)

Limited time-off requests permitted during peak holiday periods in late November and late December
