Job Summary
Allen Funk's Wallpapers has been the go-to wallpaper shop in the Raleigh area for over 20 years. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Wallcoverings Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will engage with customers, assist them in finding products, and contribute to achieving sales goals through effective upselling techniques.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in a friendly manner.
- Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to effectively assist customers.
- Assist in stock management by restocking shelves, organizing inventory, and conducting regular stock checks.
- Provide product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
- Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with store manager to meet store goals and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in interior design or similar is preferred.
- Familiarity with retail and design math concepts to assist in inventory management, sales reporting, and calculating square footage and quantity of product needed.
- Ability to work Tuesday-Saturday, 12pm to 5:30pm.
