- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to expand our client base within the construction sector.
- Prospect new clients through targeted outreach, networking events, and industry research to generate qualified leads.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to deal closing, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
- Utilize Salesforce and other CRM software to track interactions, manage relationships, and analyze sales data for strategic planning.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling proposals, presentations, and marketing campaigns that resonate with prospective clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty and identify opportunities for upselling or project expansion.
- Lead negotiations on contracts and project terms, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that meet organizational goals.
- Coordinate with project management teams to ensure client expectations are met throughout project execution.
- Engage in strategic planning sessions to identify market trends, competitive positioning, and new service offerings.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate new leads.
Experience
- Proven track record in business development management within the construction or related industries.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for creating proposals, reports, and presentations.
- Demonstrated success in prospecting, deal closing, and enterprise selling with large-scale clients.
- Excellent relationship management skills combined with effective communication and negotiation abilities.
- Experience in strategic management, marketing coordination, and cross-functional collaboration is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in customer relationship management (CRM system proficiency) is essential for tracking progress and analyzing market opportunities.
- Ability to lead teams or coordinate efforts across departments to achieve business development goals.
- Knowledge of project management principles relevant to construction projects will be advantageous for aligning client needs with project delivery.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
