American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Long Term Care (Extended Care) position in Miles City, MT, requiring a MT or compact RN license and at least one year of LTC experience.

Long Term Care (Extended Care) unit within a hospital setting

Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)

Uses Epic for charting

Active MT or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted

Minimum 1 year of Long Term Care RN experience required

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required — must not expire prior to start date

ASN or higher from an accredited School of Nursing required

Epic EMR experience required

Physical demands include lifting objects over 100 lbs and frequent lifting/carrying of up to 50 lbs

DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Responsibilities include holistic resident assessments, individualized care planning, medication and IV administration, and discharge coordination

Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members including physicians, residents, and families to coordinate medical and nursing plans of care

Supervises, coaches, and evaluates CNA staff and delegates tasks based on resident needs and staff competency

Maintains working knowledge of CMS regulations, Medicare skilled criteria, and MDS documentation requirements

Former permanent staff of any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
