FULL JOB DESCRIPTION: Home Site Coordinator
Reports to: Operations Supervisor
Hourly Rate: $18-23/hr. depending on qualifications
Core Hours of Work: Monday – Friday: 7 am – 3:30 pm
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for a variety of tasks to keep the job site and various projects moving forward. These important team players should be self-motivated and able to work independently without supervision. Responsible for cleaning and preparing construction sites before, during and after construction. Loading and delivery materials to various job sites, reading blueprints, manuals, and specifications, fixes and operates various machines, assists carpenters and tile/flooring installers. Exposure to various residential construction trades and opportunity to learn trades and grow within the company.
Job Duties:
An integral part of the crew, the Home Site Coordinator will help with many various aspects of custom home construction. This includes:
1. Prepare job site for various phases of construction and final completion.
2. Deliver materials to jobs sites as needed.
3. Maintain a clean job site; pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards. Maintain safety measures throughout construction.
4. Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in residential construction projects.
5. Assist other crew members as needed.
6. Follow proper safety and incident reporting procedures.
7. Other special projects and duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Some knowledge and experience of proper use of construction tools and equipment.
3. Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and good driving record
4. Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.
Minimum Job Requirements:
1. Ability to regularly lift heavy objects.
2. Ability to walk, stand, reach, bend, twist, squat, and climb.
3. Ability to perform strenuous physical labor in various field conditions.
4. Ability to continually work near moving mechanical parts and outdoor conditions that include inclement weather, heat, humidity, and exposure to dust.
5. Ability to grip, manipulate and use construction equipment and power tools properly and safely.
6. Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
