We’re looking for a field-based recruiter to support our growing studios across NYC and the Hamptons. This role will begin as a part-time contract with a planned evaluation period of 3–6 months, with the opportunity to convert to a full-time, in-house position based on performance and business needs. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives on hands-on sourcing, relationship-building, and being embedded in the local fitness community.
What You’ll Do

Own recruiting for three key talent groups: certified Pilates instructors, hospitality-forward Front of House team members, and business-driving studio Managers for NYC and the Hamptons.

Build and run targeted sourcing strategies across multiple channels (outreach, referrals, local/community networks, and training programs) to consistently bring in qualified candidates.

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from outreach and initial screens through interviews, feedback collection, and offer coordination ensuring a smooth, high-touch candidate experience.

Partner with studio and company leadership to align on role needs, hiring priorities, and interview plans; keep searches moving with clear communication and momentum.

Develop and maintain strong talent pipelines for active and upcoming roles, keeping ATS records accurate and sharing updates, funnel health, and key recruiting metrics.

Build relationships with Pilates certification schools and communities to generate referrals and long-term instructor pipelines.

Represent the brand in the field by attending community events, hosting/participating in open calls, and running outreach initiatives that attract top talent.

3+ years recruiting / talent acquisition experience (ideally in fitness/wellness or niche hiring).

Strong sourcing, screening, interview, and candidate-management skills.

Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

Proactive, creative sourcing mindset - comfortable networking and outreach beyond standard job boards.

NYC based required, with ability to working in the field to build and maintain relationships with candidates, studios, and the broader fitness space.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; flexibility for outreach, interviews, and coordination outside standard 9–5 when needed.

Competitive Pay: $38/hour or retainer, based on experience(during the initial 3–6 month period).

Upon conversion to full-time, compensation will transition to a salaried role with PTO, medical benefits, 401(k), and additional perks.
