PURPOSE OF POSITION
Performs a variety of general clerical tasks in support of the recreation facility's daily operations; provides customer service to patrons, members, and the public; responds to daily inquiries; assists with recreation programming and events. Monday – Friday 5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Two Saturdays of the month)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Provide excellent customer service to the public.

Receive and process participant registrations for various classes, activities, or recreation programs.

Assist in the coordination of evening activities and classes.

Answer calls and requests regarding, rental information, hours of operation, and membership.

Communicate with clubs, organizations, members,etc. to resolve problems and provide service.

Assist with leagues, special events, and activities for the center.

Perform a variety of administrative duties,such as scanning, filing, etc.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

Assist with special events as needed.

Must be able to stand, walk, and sit up to 1 hour daily; lift and carry20 lbs; push and pull50lbs;climb, stoop, bend, reach, and handle objects.

Must be able to work in various environmental conditions, including heat and cooler weather.

Must be able to work outside of normal business hours, including evenings and weekends.

Must be available to work overtime if needed.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience –High school diploma or GED and one(1) year of clerical experience. Must have a valid Texas Class C driver’s license with a clear driving record.
