Responsibilities
- Learn from and assist the Executive Director in all aspects of management, fundraising, and grant writing
- Assisting teachers in musical theatre classrooms, camps, and productions.
- Manage confidential information with discretion, ensuring data security and privacy in all communications and documentation
- Maintain office operations through data entry, learning and utilizing ticketing system, handling correspondence via email or video conferencing software, and ensuring office supplies are stocked.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), design programs (e.g. Canva), and productivity software such as DocuSign for document signing.
- Technical proficiency in video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) for virtual meetings and presentations.
- Skilled in event planning from conception through execution to ensure memorable and well-organized gatherings.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills for corporate fundraising duties and effective internal communication within the organization.
- Background in Musical Theatre is preferred (music, dance, or acting)
