QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree, preferably in industrial education or construction related field Two
years of recent and relevant work experience Michigan Secondary Teaching certificate
(Grades 7-12) with endorsements in Technology & Design (TX) and or Industrial
Technology (IX).
Michigan Vocational Authorization Certification in Engineering, CIP 15.0000
PLTW Engineering Certifications: IED, POE, & EDD (Capstone)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organize and teach engineering design classes to high school students representing a
wide range of abilities, backgrounds and interests.
Contribute to the development of an interdisciplinary teaching environment.
Develop a curriculum that utilizes innovative topics and teaching methods.
Sponsor extra-curricular activities, CTSO's to promote the program.
Communicate information and planning to all appropriate members of the school staff
and community, including parents.
Other duties as assigned.

governmental regulations
Communicate effectively and present information both in oral and in written form
REASONING ABILITY:
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Interpret an extensive variety of statistical information and data related to student
achievement.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Interact with the public and other staff as required.
Apply knowledge of current replicated research and techniques related to sensory
issues.
