Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring the overall security of the premises.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing assistance as needed.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify potential security threats.
- Implement conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations effectively.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Perform routine inspections of buildings and grounds to prevent unauthorized access.
- Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required for investigations or incidents.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and surveillance techniques.
- Ability to operate CCTV systems and other security equipment effectively.
- A valid security guard license or certification may be required based on local regulations.
- Military experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all situations.
