Overview:
AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier I/II system administration and help desk support for classified and mission systems, including troubleshooting hardware, software, account access, and connectivity issues.

Install, configure, maintain, and update servers, workstations, operating systems, and mission applications in accordance with Government security and operational requirements.

Respond to user requests through phone, email, portal, and walk-in support, ensuring timely resolution, accurate ticket tracking, and strong customer service.

Monitor system health, performance, backups, and availability; identify issues proactively and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and mission impact.

Maintain and update technical documentation, SOPs, system inventories, audit logs, and configuration records to support continuity, compliance, and operational readiness.

Support cybersecurity and compliance activities by applying patches, assisting with vulnerability remediation, following RMF/JSIG/ATO procedures, and escalating security incidents as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of related experience

TS/SCI clearance

Security+/A+/Net+ certification

U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
Pay Transparency Statement: AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $93,900.00/Yr. - USD $156,800.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
