Mariners Mile Pet Clinic is a busy, community-focused veterinary practice providing compassionate care for pets in Newport and surrounding areas. We’re seeking a friendly, organized Client Service Representative to deliver excellent customer service and support clinic operations.
Key responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets; manage check-ins/check-outs
- Schedule appointments, confirm reminders, and manage the appointment book
- Answer phones, respond to messages and triage non-medical requests
- Process payments, manage invoices, and handle basic bookkeeping tasks
- Maintain client records in the clinic management system; ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate client communications (follow-ups, lab results, post-op instructions)
- Assist with inventory management, reception area upkeep, and light administrative tasks
- Support the veterinary team to ensure a smooth patient flow
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication; compassionate and patient-focused
- Strong customer service skills and professional phone demeanor
- Proficient with computers; experience with veterinary practice management software a plus
- Detail-oriented, organized, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Prior veterinary or medical office experience preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent
